The Odisha government has declared full exception of engine vehicles duties and enlistment charges on electric vehicles (EVs) in the state, according to an authority notice. The choice was taken to support quicker reception of EVs, it said. The exclusion, truly under the Odisha Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, is pertinent till 2025.
