Surat wins Centre's award for city with the best public transport system-Delhi Metro also wins in metro

 

The Union government on Friday granted Surat the city with the best open vehicle framework and Kochi for the most feasible vehicle framework. As indicated by the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry, Delhi was granted the best non-mechanized vehicle framework for the redevelopment task of Shahjanabad Redevelopment Corporation. Delhi Metro has been granted 'Metro Rail with the Best Passenger Services and Satisfaction'.
